Hey! I thought I just posted recently!!! I usually check in every day, though.

We didn't have very reliable internet access over the holidays, so I wasn't online much. Thanks for looking out for me!! Makes a gal feel loved....

We're about to hit the road again and head south: Florida, Georgia, Texas, New Mexico. I'm trying to talk Slade into letting us bring along UBP gear to sell (or give away!) at shows. We're also even contemplating a tour in Europe this fall!!! Wouldn't that rule?!

We might have to cancel this weekend's shows because I caught a nasty virus from Joe's brother over the holidays (only got to snowboard 4 days! )and lost my voice for 5 days. It's coming back now, but I'm afraid I won't be able to sing by Friday. I hate missing shows!

Thanks for thinking of me! I'll try to post more often instead of just lurking!

Well the big dig is coming to a close! so there shouldnt be such a traffic problem anymore! Plus there are going to be all these beautiful parks where all this crap has been for construction... or so they say.... But over all Boston is one hell of a city, and a great place to go and just explore. there are many great places! Its my favorite city!

Cool! Maybe you could show us around? I think to really get the most out of someplace that big you have to have a knowledgeable guide!!

Thanks for watching it! I wish the image was bigger but I opted to go for better sound quality. We're thinking about putting together a DVD of live shows, so that could be fun!

What part of Florida? Anything in Jacksonville or St. Augustine?

Right now just Tampa, Miami, and Tallahassee. We haven't heard back from the clubs we contacted in Jacksonville -- can you recommend any?

Well, I'm glad to know you would have recommended the club at least. Nothing worse than someone telling your it's a horrible place to play after you've booked the show! Maybe we'll catch you next time!?!

Well, as you might have seen, someone just recently said, You're not playing at (XXXXX) are you?! When I said we were, he described the place and how horrific it was. Sometimes I'd just rather be surprised when I get there!!

I've turned up to the alleged 'premier venue' in a town and it's a carp pub without an IQ. I've made a vow never to play anywhere where you can see a pool table or a dart board from the stage!

Wow, wouldn't that be nice! The club mentioned above supposedly has two pool tables pushed together with a piece of plywood on top for the stage. I guess technically you can't SEE the pool tables from the stage....

Well at least the corwd won't have any weapons if you're stood on their tables!

I wonder how many dartboards it would take to make a stage? Hmmmm?

Good one! Maybe when we're at the level of, say, Rush, we can construct an entire stage out of dart boards just because we can. An homage to our humbler days perhaps. Might make a person dizzy, though!

Or even better one big dart board! I'll stand on the bullseye and Karl can run around the edge, whilst Aaron plays on the treble 20!

There's a big darts tournament going on in the UK right now. It's on all the TV and it's addictive! I'd never thought I'd find that game interesting.

Wow, wacky! I don't think I've ever watched a true dart competition before. Just stayed out of the way of drunken dart players whose aim wasn't so good....

That's me! I tried playing once with a friend of mine and I found out I have the coordination of a new born Giraffe! 'Incredibly bad' would have been the commentators remark.

I play a lot, but just in the garage. I can throw halfway decent. But the biggest problem is doing the math playing 301 whilst drinking large quantities of brew.

We usually just play cricket because it doesn't hurt our heads as much.

There's a bunch of smaller venues anywhere from good old Detroit to trendy, bar-filled Royal Oak and beyond.

Y'all should sweep by the midwest around the Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky area. Lots of Midwest uglies would like to check out your live show.

It would be fun to play up in Michigan; we never managed to get a show there before. Once we get the new CD out we'll see what we can do! It would be great to be up there in the summertime.

If ya get near the mid-atlantic area, gimme a shout.

We've played quite a few shows in Indiana and Ohio, and plan on doing more later this year. We played a couple of schools in rural Indiana; that was a blast!!! I'll keep you guys posted, and will probably ask for club recommendations closer to touring time. We did just trade in our monster van for a Toyota Highlander Hybrid and trailer, so touring will be a LOT more comfy!

Well, to be honest, we don't have any plans of anything yet, but we've played Texas a few times and have friends down thataway, so I'm sure we will! Maybe something in Houston in conjunction with GoGirls music.

If anything becomes planned, especially in the Houston area just let me know and I'll be there.

I'm in Norfolk, VA... don't mind travellin' a couple of hundred miles... anything to get the hell outta this house... bein' a housewife ain't all it's cracked up to be!

I agree with you on that. Working from home for me has it's advantages but it gets old looking at the same walls daily.
