Alright so here is my dilema. I am expecting to get my tax return and Bi-annual (sp?) Fire Department pay check at about the same time, end of Mar begining of Apr. Between the two I am looking at having $1200-1500. Now My quandry is this. Do I buy the Warwick thumb BO I have wanted for years (used). Or do I have Carvin make me something to my specs, though not everything I want is available (new). Mind you I have lusted after the Warwick for a LONG time. But after all you uglies talking up the Carvins I have to wonder.
ARRRRRGGGGHHHHHH, Curse you Demon and BK for suggesting that Carvins are any good, especially you demon, you walking Carvin add. They should pay you.

If you've been gasing the Warwick get the Warwick cause you'll get the carvin and see a thumb and you'll be man I love that bass and be gasing again!

Dude snuff, I love my Carvin and I wish they would friggin pay my a$$, then maybe I could quit this day job stuff!!! I would talk with BK though, for that kind of chip, why don't you have Grandon make you EXACTLY what you want? Dude I do love my Carvin, but if I had the chance RIGHT now to have a custom done, it would be a GW bass w/o question. I'm tellin ya, give BK a pm and see what he can do for you, you won't be disappointed.

as soon as my Kahuna ugly bass gets here I'll post all kinds of pics and reviews, sound bites etc. I would seriously recommend checking them out, but I've actually been thinking about getting a Carvin to ad to my list. I played a killer Carvin at Namm- to be honest it was the nicest feeling bass I played there- including all my favorites.... Carvin is a top runner in my book!!!

I've got a Carvin LB75 fretless with the Claro Walnut, gold trim & single coils.
It plays great, easy to adjust the truss.
I always get comments from the audience.
It's in the catalog.

I say take out a loan and buy the Warwick and the Carvin...and the customs from tonebender and BassKahuna.
Then buy yourself some Avatar cabs to finish the deal.
Not that I'm gassing or anything.
Get what you truly want, because regardless of what you get, youll think, i really want that damn warwick! So get the warwick. If you get money at a later date, buy a carvin!
