"Great Day in the Morning!"
Yesterday, after church, I didn't have anything scheduled, so I just sat around the house. That in itself would be boring, but it gave me a chance to play bass alot, so it was good. Since today is Memorial Day, I don't have school, and other than a picnic with my relatives, I don't have plans, so I guess I'm gonna have another great day of rockin out in my basement! Maybe my bandmates would like to practice today... Either way, its gonna be fun!
I know this doesn't have any real purpose, but its been kinda slow around here, so I thought I'd chime in and share my uplifting weekend with everyone!
I just got my I.B school schedule and I got 9 free 40 minute periods and 6, 40 minute music periods so I'm gonna have a lot of time to play bass at home and at school. Instead of hangin with my friends I will just hide out in the music rooms and play bass in my dark corner
And I'd have a hunch back too!
Lol, ya me and my guitarist always use music periods to jam out and make up stuff, the teacher was a total tool and we corrected her all the time....ahhh, good times, good times
lol and i spent my high school days doing drugs and drinking,
lunch timewas spent running and hiding from the guys in school who wore jean jackets with heavy metal band names written on them in black magic marker. in an effect to avoid getting stuck in a trashcan. still carry a grudge agaisnt metallica, megadeath, rio, slayer etc, one good consolation is i often get to see those same guys, usually on the illinois department of corrections website, like alot of people here the discovered the joy of chemistry a little late in life, and their at home chemistry labs
got them a free vacation and the greatest joy of joys ill see them at a club we are playing, with the ole door stamp saying they paid to see me, {? includehuge egotistical statement ?>}
and i might add it usually costs more to see me play than it did to see a h.s. football game....he who laffs last......

I can relate to that!
yeah, now see, i was the guy who was usually doin the stuffing, as I was a jock, but was also a metal head/pseudo stoner, so I got along with everybody!
lol if i had a choice i'd rather do the stuffing than getting stuffed, but little guys dont really have that choice, especially ones with really smart-assed mouths like yours truly...(big surprise im sure lol)
nah, I never would have guessed you to have a big ass mouth! but, hey, we wouldn't have you any other way!
+ 1 to Demon on being a jock. I was a middle linebacker, but after practices and games indulged in my fair share of substances. I was usually was too relaxed to stuff anyone in a trash can.
I can see the ugly purpose, It could be in the ugly commandments that Bongoslade gave to us: Be grateful for time by yourself because that is time for ugly improvemet
