Warwick Corvette SS (double buck)

What do you guys think about this?..................Warwick SS Double Buck

Looks like the Ernie Ball Bongo basses. The question though is; how do they sound and play? I am personally not a huge fan of Warwicks. Just too heavy and off balance for me. Just my two cents though.

Warwick bodies are too small to cover my fat gut... otherwise, sweet!

I dig the wider string spacing of the corvette. And they sound pretty sweet.

I'm not a fan of the warwick corvettes, I do like the thumb basses though. When I was shoping for my now bass it came down between a corvette and what I bought. But go and give it try, the dual humbuckers might sound excellent.

I'm with demon on the weight issue, they are a little heavy for my taste.

Let me tell you, it was the hands down best warwick i have ever played! 4 string version, lightweight (for a warwick) great neck, and low action. The sound was great, it would gwt the warwick sound, but also nick and thick, and full, to a somewhat stingrayish tone. very versatile, and extremely nice. It kind of makes me want one!

I've yet to try one, but i love warwicks, or at least mine. Hey, it could only suck but so bad, it can't be worse than a parker fly bass!

I have a Warwick Corvette 6. Yes they're heavy, but nothing for me has come close to sounding as good. And I like the little body, but then again I'm not a big dude.
