Wonder if its better to do the body in pieces like that than to use one big blank and do a solid? I know to get the inlay thing in the center it has to be done, but for a standard P body...

gotta remember, the strings are in contact with the neck ALL THE WAY through the body, the body wings provide sustain, IMHO, but the neck woods are what have all the tension on them ya know....

I hear ya Jackie. Some of that stuff in there looked pretty heavy. I bet your back twinged from the thought of it! I help a buddy of mine pour concrete from time to time and it always seems to happen in July and August. I can't walk on a patio anymore without wanting to faint!:eek:
