Need Some Help On a Website
lol i don't normally do this but im drunk and this is an open forum, but i need help tweaking an ranking algo and filling out genres for a new website of mine, lol don't worry its a band/music community website, sort of a clone between myspace, purevolume and the old mp3.com and all i need are bands or solo projects to fill out a profile and upload some songs and tell a few friends to come and listen and or download them. And don't worry you won't be doing it for free, you will be able to take advantage of the ungodly amount of money im throwng at advertising for this site lol, but it also includes the newest version of my online mp3 ringtone creation script so anyone can get your music as a ringtone for free from your profile.(off the record it also works for m3s that aren't your band lol). it also has all the friends/pms/bulletins like myspace, but im more interested about just getting the data from unique visitors than them joining the site, so using it to just showcase new songs or promote your ringtones would really rock. some of you may recognize the name(lol at least i hope so lol) www.getlocalmusic.com so if you could take a couple of moments and fill out a profile upload some music and send a few people to listen i'd be much abliged.
mods if this is too spammy go ahead and kill it, no probs....
lol that would probaly help huh lol the dangers of booze.....www,getlocalmusic.com
Man, that sounds like a hella cool site. I'll try and up load a few of our tunes, but the only audio I have is from our first gig when I had only practiced with them like 4 times. I'm a little embarrassed by some mistakes, but I think I played one or two clean. The only thing wrong with those two is my wife was talking with a friend while recording it, so you hear that as well.
How 'bout a link to the site?
Bass is like ... well, you gotta make some mortar to make some foundation. You have the sand, the gravel, the cement. The bass is like the cement--half of the building materials. That's a crucial part of the
foundation. And with the drums, it's like one can't work without the other. Without a solid foundation, you know, you ain't got nothing.
