Sometimes, when I'm in bed, my arms fall asleep and I can't roll over. I hate that.

No vestige of a beginning, no prospect of an end.

Founder of modern geology.
Oh man, Thorn IS a magic ninja jedi master person! Do you pick snakes up with your mind and tie them in knots? :D
I guess I should have forseen that this thread would turn into a threadkilling competition when I posted it. You're not getting this one NWB!!!
So I was playing in a show last week and my right hand started cramping up during a really fast driving part of one of our songs. Moral of the story: ALWAYS HYDRATE BEFORE A SHOW!!! My hands never do that when I'm properly hydrated :D

Coolness Heavy P...........Albino Boa! Can you believe I had one a little smaller than that one you are holding in my air cleaner on my truck? yup! My son in law took it home and made a good pet out of her! He also had a Ball Python, Slick. I would look at em, but I wouldn't hold them, because I didn't want to get used to snakes........I was raised to think they were SATANs spawns.....:D
:eek:I'm a Magic Jedi Ninja Master Person?
Nobody told me this! Well, guess what I'm gonna do? Call the President! Yep! Say, Hey butthead, employ me to do missions! I want a million bucks!;)

Albino Burmese Python.
7.5 feet long, and nearly 50 pounds.
Of course, If I ever found a strange one in my truck I might shit ;)
Heavy, I have a Box Turtle, Brighid, the goddess of something in Celtic folklore, anyways, she's a trippy little creature.......Eats beef cat food and when we left for hurricane Gustav to go to my parents house, my mom couldn't believe how she let you pet her head and she followed me around, listens to you, turns her head.......She's been with me about 9 years now.....Great pet! Trouble is I have to keep Savannah, my cat from her, she tried to bite her head off....So, I like some reptile like creatures, just not snakes!..
Okay, NOW I know where we are ............ go down two more stoplights and take a left
is this still going...

If you go left you'll wind up in the Junkyard Forum.
So this is the kinda junkatorium thread, what don't fit nowhere else can fit here I guess, so I had two funerals this morning, both at the same time in the same funeral home and both people were of equal importance to me and both gentlemen took their own lives on the same night...Very strange coinkindink! I couldn't decide what to do, so I sent my condolences online by guest book and refrained from the funerals. one was my ex boss, and one was a childhood friends dad who came into the store I worked in for years......What are the odds huh?.. Parallels and things in 2's are a theme in my life an awful lot!....

Heavy and Thorny, my oldest has a virtual reptile zoo in her room. She's got a 3' King Snake named Cleopatra, an 18 Australian Bearded Dragon named Ki-Al-La, a 7 yr. old Leopard Gecko named Hyro Zana Ru. BTW, 2 geniue pigs named Chunk and Big. She had a Ball Python, which was beautiful, but sadly it got sick and died; Issy was heartbroken. If she had more room she'd have more. Guess who buys all their food, because she not working at the moment, you guessed it, Dad. Anywaze, she loves and takes very good care of them.:)
Vinxy, Jim was the Lizard King...........I could easily be the Lizard Queen....If I didn't have the cat, I'd have lizards of all kinds.......But, I don't have the environment for them really......I'd love to have an Iguana or two! Bearded's are so cool! I used to visit a pet store here often years ago..........Always, never failed, the lizards came to the edge of the glass when I'd go near them. The owner told me that doesn't happen all the time...I have a picture of me and of all things, a Monitor Lizard at the Houston Zoo that walked to the glass to greet me.....I gotta find that pic!
You are a good dad! :)

Hey, as long as she takes good care of them too, she's learning something.

Most Quadrupeds have 4 feet. There are very few quadrupeds who play the bass.:p
I might get a new twang amp. Not that it really matters.

We went to the four-legged zoo
To visit our four-footed friends.
Lions and tigers, cats and dogs,
A goat and a cow and a couple o' hogs.
A rhinoceros and of course a hippopotamus
And, oh yes, a horse!
There were elk and bison, a gnu or two,
Giraffes and elephants, quite a few,
A llama, alpaca, vicuna too,
Zebras, Ibexes, and one big kudu.
It was swell.
I liked the gazelle.
Now Miss Simpson said ...
She teaches school, you know-
Yeah, she took us there.
Well, Miss Simpson said-
If we counted every head on these
quadrupeds,
Then multiplied that number by four,
We'd know how many feet went through the
door,
If we turned 'em all loose.
Oh no, don't do that!
It's really a groovy zoo.
But anyway, what Miss Simpson said,
It was a good chance to work on our fours in
our head.
1-2-3-4!
Thank you Schoolhouse Rock!!!
I might get a new twang amp. Not that it really matters.
Oh yeah? What are you getting?
A Roland Cube 30 from my twanger. Sounds about as close to a tube amp as I've heard yet in a SS. I just can't justify the price of a real tube amp for as little twang playing as I do, but this one sounds a whole lot better than my Crate and will work fine for my limited twanging.
I've heard good things about the Cube 30, supposably gets a nice blues overdrive tone. That you mentioned twang amps, I've got a '95' Fender Blues Deville 4x10 that's 60 watts, my main twangstick is a '88' Fender Strat Plus in Antique White, which is actually yellow now; sounds very good. I've got more t-sticks and u-sticks, I'm gonna have to take a family snapshot one of these times and post it.:)
I shot a guy once.
I shot a guy once.
You what??!~!
With a BB gun...
A very low-powered one at that.
He shot back but missed me.
I got shot once..
with a BB gun..
in the back of my right knee...
hurt like hell
the guy who shot me ...
his bb gun now shoots round corners...
and his head has a weird kinda channel down the middle
My friend threw a dart while I was going to the target. He's a lousy shot... or a good one. Anyway, stuck that sucker right in my calf. I was about 9. I'm still looking for that guy.

The best electric twang stick/amp combination I ever played through was an original '72 strat through a DeVille. It was AMAZING!! Best blues sound you could ever get probably. But enough about twang crap.
The best bass/amp combination I've ever played was a 5 string Pedulla Thunderbass through an Ampeg SVT-4 Pro head into a 4x10 SVT cab. Oh my freakin gourd!!!!! I've never fallen in love with an instrument like I did with that bass. It was unfortunate that I didn't have money at the time because it was on sale used at GC for only $2200!! That's like HALF! Hindesight is 20-20 though right? Oh well.

I admit that there is one forum that I am the ultimate thread killer. I am a huge YES fan and if I post on a thread at the YES Fans Forum....it's gone. Just Dead!

wow this thread is still going? I have nothing usful to add. Happy Friday averyone! is it beer thirty yet?
I think adding something useful on this thread would constitute a threadjack!
(it's massively entertaining however!)

Back in high school a bunch of us guys were in a BB gun war. It was the Civil Air Patrol on one side and the hunter/fishermen group on the other. I was with the hunters. We wore thick clothes, eye protection, etc. Looking back with hindsight of decades of wisdom, or just a sense of reality, it was pretty a bad idea all around though. Stupid kids.
Apparently we hunters had better aim and stalking skills, because we routed the CAP guys.:D
but still...
But still what?
But still what?
the thread continues....
But still what?
Hadn't you noticed that all OFC says in this thread is and on...? He's just biding his time and tolerating us along the way :p
:D
So I'm listening to City of Evil by Avenged Sevenfold right now and I forgot how much I like this CD! You real metalheads probably view it as pop metal or something, but I like it at least :)

Nah man,
Avenged Sevenfold is good stuff.
We had a bit of a wind blowing last night and a tree fell on my neighbor's car. Completely squashed it. He's been restoring it for something like 10 years, spending a mountain of cash on it while his wife b!tches at him about clothes for the kids and food on the table.
A shame, really, since it was quite a nice restoration of a '74 Mustang.
He used to rev it up every morning at 5.30 - the bottles and glasses in my bar area used to chink together and occasionally one would actually fall over and break.
I used to love to be woken an hour before my usual get-up time with the sweet music of someone elses ride warming up.
I loved the sweet combination of unburnt fuel and burning rubber that used to waft through my window as he left the neighborhood.
I used to love hearing the music he played at top volume on a Sunday morning at about 7.30 as he washed and waxed that baby.
I'm really going to miss it.
I'm gonna be honest surfer, you don't seem too much like you're gonna miss it. I think you might be using sarcasm to make a joke. Go ahead, tell me I'm wrong. You know I'm right. You won't miss it at all. Lies.
Bummer on the Mustang though. Enjoy the sleep! :D
