New adventure - Building a Tube Amp...*Warning Twanger content*

Ok, so I warned...Twanger content ahead!
I finally took the plunge and ordered a Tube Amp Kit from Weber. I recently build a Phase90 Clone pedal from buildyourownclone.com (they have some Ugly effects too). Fun pedal, and I enjoyed the experience.
So, my kit arrives Friday. I ordered the 6m45 Head kit. It's basically a Marshall JTM45 head clone. It comes with the cabinet, chassis and all the parts for the amp.
I'll be using the directions from the Metropulous site (rather good), as Weber doesn't give you any. I've gathered all the info I can as well as safety precautions.
Once I finish it, you guys interested in pOrn?
It will look similar to this when its done:
Only I won't be putting the Marshall logo on it.

That sounds like a really fun project.
I'm still trying to chunk out a weekend from my family duties to come up there for a visit. I hope to see both you and Chuck and to meet your new ugly.

Sure! We have a show the 17th at The Rogue with two other really good bands. That might be a good one to check out. Not sure what Chuck is up to, haven't seen him much lately.
Will post pics of the build as it progresses. Thanks for the warm welcome. I suppose this still counts partially as Ugly stuff, seeing how the JTM45 is a copy of the Fender Bassman, which was originally a Bass amp.

Yeah, I guess you get away with that one!
That's awesome. A twanger buddy of mine has been into doing some building as has come up with a few different amps. He's mostly doing 1/2 watt to 5 watt amps but it'll blow your mind how much volume you can get out of those little bastards.
He also built a tube driven reverb tank that I'm in love with.
