Wow, that was fun! Over the weekend I build my Marshall JTM45 clone. Took about 22 hours total.

Almost ready for the boards:

All Wired up:

On my Fender amp in the head box:

I have to adjust the bias circuit tonight, but will be firing it up for some fun after that.

Aside from a couple resistors, I used only the stock parts from Weber (6M45 head kit). Great deal.

I'm totally hooked and want to build more. Might have to make a clist post or something to see if anybody wants one.

You're so ugly, you have to sneak up on your mirror.

Headle cleaned it up while he had it and there are some newer shots on the forum...

Just when I thought I was good to go....I blew one of the KT66 Power Tubes.

After I blew the Tube, I did some research and found out that I got their UE transformer. No wonder it was pushing 500V to the power tubes (instead of the normal 400V).

Lucky for me switching to EL34's is only a couple resistor changes. So, I made the transformer wire changes and biased the amp for EL34's. Worked like a champ.

Just have to change out the grid resitors, re-bias, and I'll be good to go. *why do I feel like I already said that???*
