Well here was my day.
Woke up, around 2 my friend tells me about the U2 concert and muse opening. I went CRAP called in to work, rushed the hour or so to get tickets.
Sold out.
Picked up tickets form a guy, called my dad ( his fav band is U2 and last time he saw them was before I was born)
Ended up on the miller lite party deck. i could stretch my arms out and not touch anyone. Bono also said that we broke records for how many people attended the stadium, which includes 2 superbowl events.
overall..THE CONCERT KICKED BUTT! probably the best concert i will ever goto . awesome stage presence, sound was awesome, stage was awesome. if you get a chance to see them on the 360 degree tour go!

thats one hell of stage for one hell of a gig!
and the new album is sick in my opinion, its so far from the old stuff, hullaboo dvd still the best thing out there :P

I read that that stage took 3 days to put up per venue, and the stadium grass/turf at the one i went to at least was ruined and had to be replaced

I'dda opened fire on that thing before the alien beings came out to enslave everyone there. Definitely would'a called DDD and his USAF buddies for a good strafing run on that thing!

Party deck: tied off deck miller lite concession stands, had a couch in the back you can sit on. they dont sell tickets for it for football games, but for events like this you can. if you get tickets for it for a football game, free beer, my dad paid for the beer haha. I was asked if i was 21 multiple times, one time i argued with the guy for the concert didnt start yet, i wasnt drinking, i was just standing there and he was like WERES YOUR ID! ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO BE HERE? ARE YOU 21? i showed him my ticket, and told him to fuck himself over the 21 part, the cop behind him laughed
Man I hate you!!
I woulda killed to get tix to that double bill!!
