new music And news from My band :D
Well we played are 3rd show Saturday night. I had fun and we brought the most people into the club ( I Guess we are doing something right!)
My band also posted new tracks with me actually on them (yay) so they are on the myspace at http://www.myspace.com/withinapatheia Please tell me what you think! your ugly opinions mean a lot to me!
Another cool thing is that a production company asked us to play a show opening for 2 national Acts Bobaflex and Downstait. If you ever watched MTV's Bully beat down, the intro music is done by Downstait, and they also do WWE superstar The Miz's Entrance music. So that's gonna be fun for our 4th show :D
So i like this new band :D
I'll post pics of the last show later today, got class to run off too.

That's some intense stuff, man! I dig!
She and Fly Away got me goin'!
Congrats on the gig. :)
Yea She wasn't out strongest song to play live until the last gig. We usually played it first anyway to get the new song we didn't all know out of the way, but the opener was an acoustic set, so we wanted to wake people up :D She and Fly away are my 2 favorites myself.
diggin she and fly away.......
Thanks Jackie!
I'm a bandwagon fan. I like the same tunes as everyone else.
I'm not sure if it's intentional style or not, your singer seems to 'pinch' the vocals causing some pitch problems. It shows up more on tunes like Wasted than She and Fly.
The double kick parts (and the syncopated section just before them in Fly are the only obvious weak part. of the tune.
All in all, still very listen-able tunes. Cool.
glad you guys like.
UNFORTUNATELY i found this out yesterday, the singer/rhythm guitarist has a degree in Air traffic control and he got called for a job and training in Jacksonville, so he has to move there before july 1st. So March 4th will be out last show :(
Wow... you and your musical luck. Good fer him... but uh... bad for you. Enjoy the show.
bummer....
my feedback would be the flat and sharp vox as well. Great playing though, especially the bass.... just watch the flat vocals- guy can sing for sure might just need someone REALLY listening to the vocals!!
regarding the bass, well, I'm impressed amigo!!
Thanks Slade. A lot of it is easy ( break free for example) but Fly away and She i tried to have some fun with it :D
Yea he needs to work on the vocals, but we recorded all the tracks in 2 days +a day of mixing and its the first band that he tried to sing in, I give him a little slack for that.
Solid stuff MOC, def faster and harder than I could play. +1 on the vox issue, but I've heard waaaay worse many, many times. So yeah, good stuff man. Thanks for sharing.
hammer down stuff
reminds me of Green day or Blink 182
I think that's a good thing
Sounds good. Just a bit harder than most of what I listen to but I do like bands such as Red and Underoath. I actually met Bobaflew a few times. Their from around here locally. Good deal man.
As for the music, it's very solid. Great potential. +1 on the vox though. Sketchy to me. Not a burn, I can't sing worth crap, but I'd say don't let him leaving stop you. Start auditioning now.
My band lost our drummer and split. I didn't know at the time who I'd be playing with but I knew I wasn't stopping.
Keep playing, keep giggin, keep your drive. Sounds good.

while its not my style of tunes; for a hard rock / metal sound it was pretty good. Keep it up, its more paying gigs than I've had that's for sure.
Yes, in fact I do use a pick. On my GUITARS!:D
