Finally had a good jam session

Since it became apparent that Terra Solis was going to do dick all, I've been trying to sort some other band, and met with loads of potential players, but every time we've hit the jam room, someone has failed to show, or has proved incapable of actually playing.

This Saturday's booked started looking the same when new potential drummer (found by the good guitarist I've jammed with) text 2 hours before saying he couldn't make it. I phoned around and another guitarist who said he could double on drums said he was free.

Borrowed a kit, set up and just fell into grooves so easily. The dude isn't a great drummer yet, but he can jam, no flash, keeps the time and tunes into what is going on, it just worked really well. Really pleased. Hopefully, I can persuade him to get practicing his skills and make something of this plan.
