Well us Aussies didn't do that great, but I guess in a country where it's mostly desert we have an excuse.

haha, I was more referring to that last game of the Olympics, Canada Vs. USA, men's Ice Hockey.

I know it's not a huge sport down in the states, but it's practically a religion here! haha. The whole country was partying last night! The biggest intersection in downtown Toronto was shut down because it was flooded with people!

The Yanks played a great game though, what a great rivalry, game, and overall tournament.

...Do I sound too Canadian caring about hockey this much?!

It was a great game Suede. And we yanks don't hold grudges against you guys. We kind of feel bad for you guys. I mean you guys can't even make a decent beer. :oP lol

Congrats to the Canadians. You're right, it's a religion there and a mere afterthought here...and we still almost took Gold with a yougner team! lol It feels good to know Canada could never come close to beating us in Baseball, Football, Basketball, or even Soccer yet we came VERY close to beating them TWICE in one tournament at their own game. j/k

Congrats on most Gold's ever.....oh wait, we have most medals ever. That's gotta count for something right? I told my wife, ''Great. We win the most medals but Canada get's the most gold's. They'll never let us claim victory over them.'' lol I was actually rooting for other countries to win the gold's so Canada couldn't. Sorry. Pride.

Plus some of the Canadians, athletes and fans, showed terrible sportmanship/host status. We Americans would NEVER do that! lol

Anyways, congrats to the whole nation. And don't worry, we still won't let anyone invade you! Haha.

PS ~ I call BS on Ohno getting DQ'd in that race when he clearly shouldn't have been. 3 people made contact and the American, who made the least contact (if any at all), get's toatlly DQ'd? Terrible.

How was he a sore loser? He got shafted and still maintained composure. He didn't even raise a fuss about Korea trash talking him. You call him sore loser, I call him most decorated for these Olympic games.

Anyways, in spite of everything that is debate of athletic competition, that was one of the best Winter Olympics I've seen. Congrats to ALL medalists of ALL countries.....except Canada. LOL! J/K!

The first usa/canada game was so intense in the last period!

I can't believe I actually got to watch most of the games.

Funny thing though, I was cheering as much for the Canadian winners as the American ones.

I suppose it's just right that Canada should win the hockey gold.

That's what I get for vacationing there (BC) all the time.
