I'm writing a book too. So far I've got the page numbers done!
I love a good English Sonnet!! I don't like Shakespeare's plays, but I love his sonnets. I'm happy to see a poet subscribe to some structure. Since post modernism and slams became all the rage, breaking rules and so on, it seems poets forgot about structure. I only read a few, due to time, but did you try any other structures like an Italian sonnet, or Pastoral?

yeah page numbering for me is a lot like pushups
I'm like....1....2....3
but when a busty chick enters the room
I'm like....345....346....347 
never tried the other sonnet forms
didn't seem natural for me
tried to hang with the three quatrains with a couplet in iambic pentameter
I'm a big fan of Bukowski and Ezra Pound
so there's some free form in there too

I too will be checking this out,i envy your talent bud,some of you guys here ooze talent that your willing to share,if only other bass related forums were the same:~ .....i`ve had more inspiration here in 2 weeks than i got at other sites in months....hence the reason the recently aquired Peavey amp n cab are now sitting stripped down to the last component for me to
1-recover in a shocking blue vinyl
2-recover the front cloth in a cool silver mesh(stolen from work)
3-airbrushed the aluminium peavey logo`s silver n metallic blue
Mr Peavey would sue me if he seen it,but hey im having fun:)
