My dog died...

Dude I am so sorry.  I had to put my mutt down about 2 years ago and it was so very terrible.  Be praying for you man, a lot of people don't realize how hard it is to put a dog to sleep, especially when they feel like a part of the family.  He looks like he was a great dog.

Lots of compassion in that dog's eyes.  Really sorry to hear the bad news.

damn amigo- so sorry for your loss. I've got a family member dog as well and can't even think about that kind of shiat without welling up.

FM, I'm sad to hear this news. We lost our dog, Chelsea, a couple of months ago and it was a very hard thing to go through to say the least. Our pets add so much to our lives that we have to appreciate every day with them.

FM you're always the first to offer support when someone's down and needs a shoulder.

Having lost a pet not long ago (actually it's nearly a year ago but it still hurts) I feel for ya.

Hope you can reconcile your loss and move on.

I'm so sorry. My doggie just died, too. She was 13 and hadn't been able to walk for probably a year. Simon looks like a wonderful companion and I know you must have been great parents to her. You were lucky to have spent so many great years together and have lots of happy memories. I still think he's nearby watching over you. Sending happy vibes your way.

My dog is also named Simon and he is about 8 years old now. When I look at him I can't imagine him not being with us but know he is starting to get up in years. The Lord does bless us with these creature friends and they are parts of our family.  We are surely blessed with their presence in our lives. I hope your hurting subsides and your pleasant memories of your lost friend will always be with you.

Amy, I am truly sorry to hear about your loss.  Dogs are family.  When you've had one that long and lose him, it hurts.

Well, I'm sorry to hear about everyone's losses.  Surfer, if I remember right, you lost a cat.  Basser, Chelsea is at peace, I promise.

Oh darlin, I am so so sorry to hear about this....What a beautiful gift he gave to you though!  His life will always be remembered!  I am still not over Savannah and that was last October!  It hurts so much to lose them..I haven't gotten another pet yet.  Just can't seem to feel it's time.  I keep you always in my prayers and heart!
