Fix for fretting hand pain

Not 100% yet, but I think I found a solution to the fretting hand pain I was experiencing.  And it was stupidly simple.  I raised the level that I play my bass while standing.  It's now basically the same level as when I play sitting down. 


Not only did I play with less pressure, but my hand didn't really hurt on sunday (after our 4.5 hour gig on saturday night).  I also found it was easier to dance and play with the bass at this level.

yeah, I always trip out when I see guys with their basses slung down by their feet- no chance I could play like that for more than about 2 minutes...

Seriously...one of the most uncomfortable things ever and gives you about zero wrist/finger control. Props if you can do it I guess.
