I just had the best band/jam night maybe ever!  The new band is finally assembled. New twanger that is just rockin' it and is motivated. The screamer I was working with before that had disappeared (we've come to terms on that). Great stinky that I've been waiting on for awhile now.


We were all ready with the songs we agreed on, everybody is great at their own instrument and I don't have to worry about whether or not they're going to be able to play their parts.


Everybody is cool. We're agreeing on songs. We laughed, we cried, we all got matching tatoos. Ok, maybe not that, but it was so awesome. What a grand relief. I have been waiting to find this situation for well over a year and it looks like it's finally coming together.


Keep your fingers crossed that it stays this way. Laughing

Usually theres something wrong with at least 1 person....(usually the singer)Wink

Good Luck

Not to be a downer but like most relationships, bands usually start out with alot of ethusiasm and positivity. Just make sure that everyone continues to work to maintain that type of environment and positive relationship.

Yeah BP, it's cautious

Yeah BP, it's cautious optimism, hence the crossed fingers, but it's feelin' pretty damned good right now. I'm usually on the lookout for the bad, so this time I'm just trying to enjoy the good. It's my turn for a sigh of relief. I deserve it dammit. :)  And everything is looking good. Matching energies for pace, practice, gigs, etc. It's just lookin' good and that's super nice for a change. I've been grinnin' about it all day. Laughing
