Ibanez SR2010ASC
Kinda neat, a 6-string bass... fretted 4-string on the bottom witha fretless D & G on top?
Have seen a varierty of fretless/fretted hybrids before, but has a demo video of someone actually playing it... kinda reminds me of their Alphonso Johnson sig bass that was fretted up to the 12th, and fretless to the 24th...

Nah, the way they strung it up it's EADG +DG...
I would have prefered 4/3 personally... only two strings for the fretless range would leave me highly uncomfortable as far as flexibilti goes... EADG + DGC.... mmm...
What are those bridge saddles? Look they have a lever to press down, is it quick release?
Well...
That's interesting but I must be missing the point. Either play fretless or don't.
It would kind of make sense to me if it was tuned in some kind of standard manner. The duplicated strings just don't make sense to me.
Oh, well. I can be a Luddite.
The saddles are just their standard one's that are separate. The bass I am selling has them too. They are nice in that the string just slides in from the side. But there's no lever in them or anything.
hmm....
low end
yet melodic
interesting....
Nah, the way they strung it up it's EADG +DG...
Ah...I see that now.
Now it would be very confusing...(to me)
wow. thats pretty neat looking... I wonder how much mileage youd get out of it tho. after a while I think youd just go either
all fretless or fretted. but what do I know.
rock.
DDD
I saw a pic of this awhile back and thought it to be a cool concept.
I think I'd have to reserve judgement on it until I played with it quite a bit to see what can be done with it.
I think that's maybe a bit of a problem in that you'd have to spend a fair bit of time experimenting with it to find out if it really offers something musically useful.

(isnt it the G & C on top?..I'm just sayin is all
)
Wow,..
thats................different.
prolly be neat to try.
I think it shoulda been 3/3 steada 4/2.
neat tho.
