Surfbug's latest pics just reminded me, I havnt posted any gigpics in a while....


Don't know if you all were aware...but I am in a different band now since my last pics (however, its a band I was in before)


While we don't play all the good rooms like my last band...we're gettin a little attention.


(I miss the last band though...alot)

Gig pics & Crowd

Man, you jut don't see a crowd like that in Nashville.  There's usually 10 or 15 guys, arms folded and scowling.

That sounds like an original

That sounds like an original band show.  Since I've been in the cover band the dance floor is packed and chicks galore.

Yes.As It turns out...that is the secret. Wink


I've played to many gigs in original bands, that pay no money, and have no people.


So..while I'm `too old` to hit the `big time` with originals...nights as pictured above will keep me doing the covers....BUT , as I learned the hard way, They MUST be covers that people know,and want to hear.


Try to couple that in with not doing ALL the songs every other coverband is doing....


 


And..yes..Pictured above is a good room (weve played there twice and even been invited back ;)   )


I prolly won't post many pics of the `not so good` rooms. Big


 


BTW , I don't know who started calling them rooms..?...but `venue` doesnt sount right(reminds me of a giant stadium) ..and `club` doesnt really fit all of the places..


so, I'm callin it rooms.


 


and...where are my quotation marks?..I use them alot so I don't ever want my comments to be taken wrong, and quotes can really help me get my point across....anyway

Just so it wasnt so obvious (like the other guys) I thought I'd start by taliking MUSIC.


Then I'd say something like GREAT ROOM!!


Well the room is irrelevant, it's what's in it that counts!!

Actually I ordered them (hot pink) before this show [pictured]..but they hadn't showed up in time.


 


they're back on now. Wink


 


They're kinda hard to get ahold of (GC doesn't keep em on hand)....so I gotta order them. ...which is cheaper anyway.
