G & L

Lookin sweet.

I came real close to buying a G&L L2000 this past summer, a used one was up the the Gas, Guns, Guitars etc roadside estabilshment I often stop at while M/C riding in upstate New York near the CA border.
I was digging the feel and I could tell it just grooved.  For some reason I played a G&L at Bass Specialties in Bensalem PA and it didnt speak to me the way this one did.

Anyway, I there was no way I could pack the L2000 on the VFR, and my riding buddies were wanting to get rolling.   I didn't plug it into an amp....I was afraid of the fiscal consequences if I did Wink

Jeff, that was probably a

Jeff, that was probably a good call on the fiscal consequences. Smile I got this one for a steal, and it's been a great bass. I think the only thing I'd change is that the neck is pretty thick. It might be a little more comfy with a thinnner neck. That being said, there are so many options on this bass, if it doesn't sound good, it's probably the fault of the player.
