Hi keepers of the bottom end, I was just wondering how you post pictures on here? I have quite a few in my Pics.
Thank You
you have to get them hosted on the net somewhere first.
there are lots of photo hosting sites out there that are free, photobucket and the like. I use www.Smugmug.com its not free, but I'm a photography geek amongst other things, so I'm happy to pay for a premium advertising free service.
Anyway, get your photos hosted, then when you want ot post a pic of something, type your entry out and click on the little tree icon to the left of the text dialog box. If you hoover the mouse over it for a moment a script appears that says insert / edit image. After you click on the tree Icon, paste the URL to the web address where the image you have is stored atl and save it. JPG seems to work best, but I think other image file types work also.
hope this helps. Its simple but you need to get the photos hosted somewhere first. they don't live on the ugly bass player site; but are linked images. Some of the more technical knowlageable types around here will probably correct me but that's my understanding of it anyway.

you can delete my post if you want.....when I opened up the replly window there was no other reply there. after clicking save I saw your more official reply.
I appreciate the information. You guys are great
for future reference there is a sub-forum for these kinds of questions:
http://www.uglybassplayer.com/forum/1000009
and there is a topic about pic posting as well as other good info.
but, the quick answer is the second icon in from the left in this editor window (looks like a tree) is the ticket. click that and paste the URL of your hosted pic in there. i usually hit the preview button to see how it looks before posting.
photobucket, picasa, flickr, etc are the easiest places to store pics for web use.
Beer is not simply a means of drunkenness nor is it merely a lubricant to grease the skids to sin. Beer, well respected and rightly consumed, can be a gift of God. It is one of his mysteries, which it was his delight to conceal and the glory of kings to search out. And men enjoy it to mark their days and celebrate moments and stand with their brothers in the face of what life brings - Stephen Mansfield, The search for God and Guinness
