Well, I'm not much of a fan of the Cookie Monster metal, but I have to say you've got some great commercial stuff in there too. That one singer that is actually singing (not growling) reminds me of the guy in Linkin Park. Solid work on the bass too! Good job, man!

More Whoring

Here is a couple of busy bass tracks I did in the studio recently. I hope bassists can appreciate them. Headrush is the hardest bass line I've recorded to date. On rule....listen on big speakers, cheesy computer speakers do not work. Peace y'all!

Video Game music

I was listening to NPR, and they had a segment about video game music, and how popular it is.  They spoke about the challenges of reproducing the sounds of the 8-bit music.  A comment was made that symphonies are playing music from Final fantasy. Anybody out there pandering to masses by playing video game music?  (Who says that pandering can't be fun?)

Thanks man, I had a lot of fun on this collab. My buddy Pete did all the vocals except the low cookie monster stuff as well as the guitars, keys and arrangement. I'm working with another buddy of mine writing some different type of stuff that I hope to have up there soon. It's awesome getting jam with different musicians.
