For Sale: Yamaha TRB-5
Hey All,
I've GAS pains.....have to move this one to make room.
Yamaha TRB-5 II. I've had her a little over a year. gently played: (never gigged out in bars etc. - I play church praise band stuff and this was not my main bass). Practicaly brand new condition. When I bought it, all the plastic bits still had the protective film attached. Includes TKL Hardshell case. Plays fine, neck is true, recent set up with new DR flatwound strings.
$650. + shipping

Can't use it. I would corrupt the poor girl I lead too quiet of a life. I like my instruments to have HISTORY, so I can tell tales about the equipment, therefore, I make sure the girl saw some seediness.
I have to move her. She's really nice, but I've been playing up the neck more; which is a good thing, but have discovered I want a more narrow fretboard in a 5 wire.
I have a Stingray 5 on the way. If a UBP player wants her, I'll throw in the deluxe padded strap with straplocks. I'll be posting her to craigslist and fleabay by the weekend.
Somewhere I think I even have the litltle plastic card that came from teh factory that was under the knobs.....and showed which was volume, pan, EQ orientation etc. I bought it used from Sam Ash but this was on the bass when I bought it.
beautiful! i played a 6 wire version and would own one if i could. it was damn near as comfortable for me as a BTB.
Beer is not simply a means of drunkenness nor is it merely a lubricant to grease the skids to sin. Beer, well respected and rightly consumed, can be a gift of God. It is one of his mysteries, which it was his delight to conceal and the glory of kings to search out. And men enjoy it to mark their days and celebrate moments and stand with their brothers in the face of what life brings - Stephen Mansfield, The search for God and Guinness
