Privacy Policy
Here's the part that matters:
We at UBP will not use your email address
for anything at all, unless you ask us to. We will never,
under any circumstances, give away or sell your email address
to anyone. You can choose
to sign up (or not to sign up) for our mailing list when you buy
stuff. If you provide us with an email address and allow
it to be viewed, then our bulletin board members and BassFinder
users can email you. For that reason, if you are concerned
about spammer's pulling your email address from our public areas,
we'd suggest that you give us a "public" address that
you use for these types of things. I use spam@uglybassplayer.com
for all public forums. Use that extra hotmail account for
that stuff. Check it once-in-awhile (or everyday, if you're
looking for work from this board).
We must, however collect your contact and
shipping info when you buy something from us, for obvious reasons. We won't give
away or sell this info for any reason. Same goes for people
who submit to the BassFinder and the Ugly Archive. We require
the info so we can contact you if we need to. Otherwise,
it sits securely in our server's database for a brief period, then
expires and disappears.
NO SPAMMING IS ALLOWED from our bulletin
board!!! If you
receive spam from a user of the UBP forum, please report it by emailing the UBP Webmaster. Will will report spam
you receive from this board to the sender's ISP. Then we
will send a troop of very horny gorrillas to the offenders home,
where they will all take turns squat-humping the sorry sot. Then,
we will shave the spammer's 'nads, slather them with honey (using
a long stick of course) and set the offensive SOB on top of a very
large ant hill. Not just any ant hill, but one of those big-ass
tropical ones with the big-ass ugly ants that carry lawn furniture
on their backs.
Spam sucks. Don't do it. Don't
put up with it.
And here's the part that the government, w3c
and Microsoft require us to have (if you can understand any of
this, then more power to you):
